This is my 38th year in the hearing healthcare business. It’s hard to believe that I’ve spent a third of a century and two thirds of my life helping people hear better. I can’t think of a more rewarding career.

I come from a hearing aid family. My father opened the very first Miracle-Ear business, and was instrumental in developing the franchise system. I grew up in the business and when it was time to go off to college, audiology was the natural choice for a career. After graduate school I worked with Dad in his business and watched him grow his company into a multiple-office practice. In 1992 the opportunity came available for me to start my own company, taking over a four-office Miracle-Ear business.

The little company that we started here in Cincinnati has now been in business for 28 years and has grown to 30 offices in three states. In these 28 years we have helped over 47,000 people. That’s a lot of happy ears!
