Beall, Inc. was formed in the spring of 1992 when Scott G. Beall purchased the Cincinnati, Ohio Miracle-Ear franchise. In 1996 Dr. Beall and his team formed a second company, Hearing Services of Ohio, Inc. and acquired the Dayton and Columbus, Ohio franchises. In 1998, the company purchased the Toledo, Ohio franchise. In 2000 they added the Indianapolis franchise. In 2001, Beall, Inc. purchased the Louisville, Kentucky Miracle-Ear franchise. In October 2004 Hearing Services of Ohio, Inc. merged with Beall, Inc. and the Cleveland territory became the newest member of the Beall, Inc. family.

The company has a long history of purchasing franchises, building them, and bringing excellent service to our clients.

President of Beall, Inc., Dr. Scott G. Beall, Au.D. MC/A, BC-HIS, graduated from Bloomsburg (Pennsylvania) University with a Master of Science degree in audiology in 1984—the same year that Miracle-Ear began franchise operations. At that time, his father, John Beall, had recently signed the first Miracle-Ear franchise agreement. Scott joined John in his central Pennsylvania business, and began working as a hearing consultant, selling and servicing hearing instruments. Over the course of the next eight years, his duties grew to include training and managing of consultants and receptionists, and the management of the company. Scott left Pennsylvania in 1992 to start Beall, Inc.

Dr. Beall earned the Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from the University of Florida in 2001. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (MC/A) from the American Speech-Hearing and Language Association (ASHA) and Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences from the National Board for Certification of Hearing Instrument Specialists (NBC-HIS) as well as Board Certification in Audiology from the American Academy of Audiology.

DR. SCOTT G. BEALL AU.D, CCC-A, ACA, BC-HIS

This is my 33rd year in the hearing healthcare business. It’s hard to believe that I’ve spent a third of a century and two thirds of my life helping people hear better. I can’t think of a more rewarding career.

I come from a hearing aid family. My father opened the very first Miracle-Ear business, and was instrumental in developing the franchise system. I grew up in the business and when it was time to go off to college, audiology was the natural choice for a career. After graduate school I worked with Dad in his business and watched him grow his company into a multiple-office practice. In 1992 the opportunity came available for me to start my own company, taking over a four-office Miracle-Ear business.

The little company that we started here in Cincinnati has now been in business for 23 years and has grown to 36 offices in three states. In these 23 years we have helped over 47,000 people. That’s a lot of happy ears!

And they are happy. Once again this year we have earned the coveted Better Business Bureau A+ Rating. That’s 14 years in a row that we have earned the top spot with the BBB.

And while I’m bragging on our company, I’m proud to say that every one of our staff—front office staff as well as Hearing Aid Specialists—has successfully completed the stringent requirements of the new Miracle-Ear Certification program. We are the only company in our industry to offer this comprehensive certification. It gives our patients the assurance that we are uniquely qualified to serve them.

I am profoundly grateful for every one of our patients who has trusted us with their hearing over the years. I strive to earn that trust every day.
